Mission Statement: At Grounded Beginnings Birth (GBB), our mission is to cultivate, empower, and honor the perinatal community, from birth workers to birthing families.

CO-FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Deidre is a powerhouse mother of three, Childbirth & Health Educator, Doula Trainer, and a change innovator. For over 20 years, she’s created transformative spaces where people—especially women—feel truly seen, heard, and celebrated.
Bianca Reid

CO-FOUNDER

Bianca is a force to be reckoned with—wife, mother of four, Birth Doula, Maternal Wellness Advocate, and Public Health Specialist, all rolled into one. With a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) and a passion for grassroots change, she’s making waves as a Senior Health Educator at a dynamic non-profit.
Priscilla Valenzuela

Priscilla is filled with a fierce devotion to the transformative journey of pregnancy and childbirth. Long before she stepped into her nursing training, she was already all in—dedicated to supporting birthing families in ways that feel as bold as they are impactful.
